Santo da Serra Golf Course is located to the east of the island in Santa Cruz. This 27-hole par 72 golf course was designed by Robert Trent Jones and inaugurated in 1991. Since 1993, the Madeira Open is held here.

The third golf course in the archipelago of Madeira is located on the island of Porto Santo. Designed by Severino Ballestros, Porto Santo Golf was inaugurated in 2004 and has room for 500 golfers. In addition this golf course has an 18-hole par 72 Course and a 9-hole par 3 Pitch & Putt.
